The Best Way To Learn!
There are many ways to get the training and skills you need.
You can attend formal classes, attend a series of one or two day
seminars, or perhaps even bring in a guest speaker or trainer. All
of these are great ways to learn how to improve your customer
service skills. But they all have drawbacks as well.
Seminars and formal classes must be
made to fit within your own schedule and may involve costly travel
and meal expenses as well as having to take off time from work
(often unpaid or requires using precious vacation or personal
days! Guest speakers or trainers are a great way to get
personalized training but the cost can be extremely high and

are fixed length. You have to dedicate 4,6,8 hours for a seminar. With
the self-paced method, you can take as little as 30 minutes at a time to
read and learn everything you need to do. Who among us, doesn't have 30
minutes sometime or another?
One
other advantage of the self-paced method is that the materials you use
to train can be with you 24 hours a day 7 days a week forever. No
instructor is available t you that way like when you take a course or
attend a seminar. When the course or seminar is over, all you have is a
book or participant guide full of hastily scribbled notes and comments.
With the self-paced method, you can refer back to your training manual
any time you want! Use it when you find yourself in a difficult
situation or a critical moment when a decision could be costly if made
wrong. Whatever the reason, you will have the information you need when
you need it!
Cost is always a factor and many people truly want to learn the skills
but simply cannot afford thousands of dollars for college courses or a
few hundred dollars for a one day seminar. In fact, some one day
seminars can cost $2,500 or more! With the self-paced method, training
